After a zombie becomes involved with the girlfriend of one of his victims, their romance sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world.

Well this is a new one.  With the infinite doom that is Twilight opening this weekend, I’m glad to have come across this trailer to brighten up my day.  Of course in a year where a deceased president had an untold chapter of his life as a vampire slayer displayed on the big screen, anything can go.   The rom-com from director Jonathan Levine, 50/50 2011, looks to break up the monotony of zombie genre a bit by infusing a love story between the zombified Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class 2011) and Teresa Palmer (Take Me Home Tonight 2011).  Oh I forgot, it also stars the always funny Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine 2010) as the brilliantly named zombie, M.  I’d rather have the ladies go weak in the knees over this mashup any day, rather than the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart debauchery.  Kelley CK, I’m looking at you!
