Assassin’s Creed Unity Gamescom Trailer

The new UK trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity details life in Paris from the streets to the Notre Dame Chapel. Not to mention, the on-going chaos that is the French Revolution of the late 1700s. We can also see a lot of the changes the franchise has undergone in this new generation’s iteration. Along with its new setting, what’s immediately noticeable is the graphical overhaul; also on display in the trailer are additions such as a more dynamic parkour system along with a wider range of AI characters and animations. One thing we don’t see in the trailer, though, is a lot of the violence that we’ve seen in Assassin’s Creed trailers in the past. It seems that they’ve gone with a change of heart in the way they’re advertising the game to audiences overseas. I think it’s the best one they’ve released so far, as it’s given us a better look at the game and its systems. Let’s hope they bring this type of marketing mentality stateside. Assassin’s Creed Unity will be released October 28, 2014 for $59.99 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
