New Photos From The Set of “Captain America: Civil War”

Right off the heels of Avengers: Age of Ultron, it’s time to get excited for the next big movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Captain America: Civil War (AKA Avengers 2.5) is not only the next big movie, but it might be the biggest movie in the MCU that doesn’t have “The Avengers” in the title, as it revolves around one of the most well known conflicts in Marvel: the “civil war” within the Avengers over the superhero registration act. Leading both sides of that conflict will be Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America/Steve Rogers (Chris Evans).

While we can’t exactly get much story info from the pics below, thanks to, we got a look at updated suits for Captain America and Falcon. Cap’s suit seems to combine the muted colors of his suit from Winter Soldier and the red and white from his Age of Ultron suit. Falcon’s suit, on the other hand, seems to have gotten a makeover with a more Avengers-themed color palette with some reds and blues added. Something new is Frank Grillo’s Crossbones suit, and it’s quite the looker. It looks clunkier than I originally thought it would, but I imagine that on-screen that weight won’t be too much of an issue. But, I gotta say, between the Winter Soldier and Crossbones, the villain’s costume designs in the Captain America movies don’t cease to impress. Captain America: Civil War is set to release May 16, 2016.
