Man From U.N.C.L.E. Trailer 2

It’s been about four months since we had any further press from this sixties spy thriller, but The Man From U.N.C.L.E is back. This time around the trailer gives us more insight into the villainess of the film,¬†Victoria Vinciguerra ( Elizabeth Debicki). It seems she is either allied or in charge of the criminal organization bent on unleashing nuclear Armageddon. This of course forces the CIA’s and KGB’s best operatives to join forces. What I think is interesting about this trailer, and its predecessor, ¬† is it sets up Armie Hammer’s Illya Kuryakin as more of the man of action with a romantic lead as opposed to Henry Cavil’s Napoleon Solo. Now I’m not too familiar with the series, but after consulting with folks familiar with the show,( my parents and other old people) they all seem to describe Illya as being more of the action bad boy. So it looks like director Guy Ritchie is sticking close to the source material. Either way the film looks great and I’m a big fan of Ritchie, so I’m anxious to see how the film pans out. Check out Man From U.N.C.L.E. August 14, 2015.
