RTX2016: Red Carpet Event with Bradley Jackson And Andrew Disney

This weekend Austin was abuzz with the sixth annual RTX Convention celebrating internet media mogul Rooster Teeth. As part of the celebration, the Paramount Theater in Austin Texas hosted the world  premiere of RT’s latest sci-fi comedy Crunch Time! Crunch Time follows a group of misfit scientists who inadvertently create a black hole in their lab. Interrogated by the authorities, and with no memory of creating the singularity, the rag-tag scientists must now recount every failed experiment they ever had. If they can’t, it could mean the end of the world!

With the official release in September, and with only a handful of trailers, fans in line were pumped for the sneak peak. I got to sit down with show creators Andrew Disney and Bradley Jackson. Both had worked together previously on the film Balls out, and come from strong film backgrounds. They were excited to work with Rooster Teeth and be able to work on a dream project like Crunch Time.  Director and writer, Andrew Disney, was especially ecstatic about getting a chance to make something so subversive and ridiculous. When asked if they would be willing to work on other Rooster Teeth material, or had any other projects lined up in the future, Bradley Jackson expressed hope for a season 2 of Crunch Time.
